I hope everyone has had a great christmas :D
Mine was good. Stu's parents arrived on Christmas eve.
We opened up our presents on Christmas morning, before his parents went to church. His dad and I cooked a great Christmas lunch of chicken and turkey and roast potato and pumkpin :D I was pretty pleased with it, because I don't often cook.
Boxing day we went to Pete and Kylie's place for their christmas lunch (Pete is Stu's brother, Kylie is Pete's girlfriend) with her parents and brother. That was lots of fun - it was in geelong though, so a pretty long drive. Then on the way back we stopped at Melbourne airport (why couldn't it have been avalon?!?) to pick up Stu's friend Dave.
Sunday we went to Dad's place and had a christmas lunch with dad's wife, Matt (my brother), Aunty Liz, Uncle Richard and dad's old housemate (Fiona). Turns out, at Christmas lunch Fiona had said to dad "So, when are you two getting married". Dad then *finally* told them how he got married on the 13th September. Oooops. So they joined us for lunch to celebrate that, too.
Monday was pretty quiet. We went to Dandenong and bought an
induction charger for our Wii Remotes. I've been reading up about it, looks fairly cool, and much easier to use. We also got a few clothes, Lego Star Wars (complete series).
I don't know if i mentioned, Stu bought us an Xbox 360 for an early christmas present to us both, so we've been playing Lego Batman. It's pretty fun, and it's a game we can both play, so he wanted Lego Star Wars to go with it. We bought Lego Indiana Jones last week too - it was awesome, the game shop was selling it for $20 used with Kung Fu Panda, which stu didn't want. But the store couldn't find the disk for Kung Fu Panda, so we got it for $15 :p
I've been playing Torchlight a little bit lately. It's a new game similar to Diablo, and it was on special on steam this week for $10, so I got it and I'm loving it :)
Can't think of anything else for the moment. Except that i need to post more often :P
