I just moved out of home and into a friends place, Just payed my first set of rent too, i dont see what people complain about really... 6:06 pm	9 Months since last post Wow, its been nine months since my last post and im sure your all desperate for new information. After working at franklins/safeway reservoir for the last 7 years, i have been offered a "promotion". I just finished my first "week" at safeway brunswick on sydney road. I say week. Im supposed to work 38 hours and i did 53. I am the second in chare of the department and that is good money for long hours and im being groomed for the managers position apparently. Thats all good and stuff. The boss seems like a good bloke and the guys there are ok but are pretty slow for a store that does 3 times the sales of reservoir. Eh.... On the personal front it has not been a good week. My old kindergarten teacher, who was one of mums good friends past away a week ago and that was an emotional funeral. What is worse new is that my grans sisters daughter, (2nd cousin) (i think), flipped her car and was killed instantly. It seems that, in my life we have many quiet times and then a spate of funerals. So i would like to say that i love u all and value your friendship. Thats all for me at the moment. Have a good life and enjoy yourselves.... 1:31 pm	he he 10 things ive done that u probably haven't (or something like that) 10: Cut through to the bone with a machette twice in a week...(banned from using the machette for a month (age 16) 9: Broken a storeroom light with a soccer ball in a produce vs grocery soccer match whilst should be working (age 17) 8: Jumped from a car in full Leonardo (TMNT)costume (age 12) 7: Broke rollerblade in tarago door after falling out of car.(age 13) 6: Had hand brutally scarred by 6 ft bastard in hockey, the bitch stepped on my hand in footy boots (age 11) 5: Headbutted a soccer ball that went up 30-40 meters in the air when i was in primary school (age 10) 4: Broke a guy ankle with a two footed german style soccer tackle.(age 12) 3: Successfully took town George from school by myself in Brittish bulldogs (age 15) 2: Broke a guys glasses with a hockey stick by hitting him in the head. (age 14) 1: Had skull split by hockey stick. (age 21) Hmmm all mine seem to be about pain or getting hurt, Well those are the memories that stay with you. it all went downhill after the soccer ball. 2:23 pm	NEW boss again WEll marino has left produce to go on to bigger and better things. The weekend guy is now on holiday and probably not be coming back. New boss smokes more than three chimneys in ye good old england. But he doesn't eat lunch he just smokes it instead. So its all about the drama's. Apparently i told my cousin that id go with him and sam and simmo to the good charlotte concert that is on tonite. i owe my aunti money for the tickets and i didn't even really know i was going until yesterday. Eh its only money and i cant really afford that. Had a scare from uni, saying i didn't qualify for my subject that i need to finish of my degree. But they just didn't update their records and all they needed to do was check it and go oops sorry. So i now have two more weeks to pay off my GSF which will now be more. SO now that all the administration has worn off, i was told at work it wouldn't be advisable for me to take the whole of may/june off, even though i have that much holidays. We just cant run the department without you, especially since the weekend guys might not come back. but we are training new people to replace you, but they wont be ready to take on your responsibilities until at least the end of the year. It going to be a wonderment, they are training three guys to take produce positions. The whole place has been run by the "MANAGER" , me and the two weekend guys. Total experience in fruit and vege being me 7 years, dave 7 and zahin 7, so 21 years experience, not including the manager, so shall we say 22 years, being replaced by three 15 year olds who wont know anything. Safeway is so much like Franklins. The right hand is patting you on the head the left is reaching for the dagger to stab you in the back. Ive got the feeling by next year i wont be having any hours so ill be given the option to dpt manage or f==k off. Not sure what to do. Well thats the end of my rant for a while, gonna go home a play WOW, which has given me another crisis. I had to delete my level 19 character due to errors involving lakc of equiptment, money and my body coming back everytime i died. Plus no conversation appeared at anytime whilst using the character. For all those that care me new character on the Medivah server is Prenanour a level 9 shaman. all i need to do now is upgrade to broadband or take over ewans computer. 2:40 pm	i can go back previous 20! There was a time when i had two entries in this thing and then forgot for a year. IM now a part of the internet community yay. Nothing else is needed to say. The new boss will take getthing used too but in a while we shall be best mates. I may have further job opportunities with safeway either in produce management or in internal systems /acc/fin/computers. Who knows how to make a good resume. 11:42 am	Ich kann nicht waiten Finally, after much convincing, i have and the parents considering the option of broadband internet. With that in mind, im going to be purchasing a copy of WOW. I cant wait.... Nothing else will matter for a while but i am excited about having console club at my house. Just letting people know i have very little in the way of food and other amenities, even though i work at a supermarket, but food is very close and Johnny Boys offers 3 pizzas and garlic bread for $30 delivered. 3:59 pm	Let down by stuffed computers The damn webpage isn't loading and i want one more look at the practice exam before i study again. Trust the uni to stuff me up. Luckily this is the easy exam. From 12:30 tomorrow untill thursday at 6 dont bother me. Also Ewan, fire up that xbox after that time because i will be coming over to obliterate annoying little aliens. But if your not home ill just borrow halo 2 from you then.. Another thing thats hard in my life to admit is that ive become addicted to gambling, so ive decided to give up the poker machines. Not for lent, just for a while. Its tough cos they are part of my stress relief, but im retaking up jogging to get fit and relax. Also there will be an opening for a gym buddy starting after exams. I really want to get fit people so its up to you to help me with these issues. Starting Wednesday nite, ill be watching a new dvd, recently purchased with the money id usually use gambling. So come on over if your in the mood, ill try and post which dvd i buy, but if you want to chance a crap movie, not that ill be buying one of those, come on over. This notice takes effect beggining December, as thats when exams finish. Its funny how life works aint it. To my right is the security guard who worked at safeway, studying, and on the computer opposite is the current trolly boy for safeway, also studying. 4:13 pm	What? Ok then, everybody has been moving on with their online life and im getting left behind. Firstly. woot to halo 2. Very good game, even though i seem to die for no reason when i have full health, but its the game hating me. Secondly, if anyone is depressed and they want to talk, let me know cos i dont have a mind reading device thingy. Thirdly, my job is only secure if i get along with the current boss. Previous PRoduce managers include STEVE1, SAM1, TONY1, PAUL, TONY2, SAM2, MIKI, ROSHAN, NUWAN, and finally STEVE2. Eleven bosses in the 6 years i have been working. I have to be nice to every single one of them, even though TONY1 was a prick. So when the new boss comes in again. Jono has to work hard to ensure he (why cant i have a female boss) like me and thinks im worth keeping because a 22YO fat, guy isn't the high priorty to keep. Knowing that any new boss has a ability to cancel out my otherwise good contribution due to the fact that i am a considerable dinosaur in the supermarket world kinda sucks and the only reason i have this job is because im willing to work the shit shifts and pull the hard overtime yards. If anyone thinks i have it easy, i hope i ahve changed your minds. God i cant wait until i graduate (god willing) because then ill have something else to tack onto my resume and hopefully get a good job. Lets just hope they take me for who i am and not for my marks and achedimic achievement because then im better off jumping ont he dole for the rest of my life. I went shipping today, a reason for me to get depressed. Took my sister out and it was good spending quality time with her and i had no idea i was that badly out of the fashion loop. Another thing was shopping in the trendy stores where xl is really medium and they only have one copy of the item i like in the right size and its the "wrong" colour apparently. But i now have two more jackets, two shirts and some badly needed socks and jocks. Starting to take a tally of how much i gamble, when and where, time and date, just to show myself this is how much money you have wasted. Thinking of starting up a fund, contributing the same amount of money i lose into a jar to spend on stuff i actaully need liek a tv or an xbox, NO WAIT, i have these now. Whats next then? I dont think ill purchase a fridge or washing machine until i move out. But BECKY seems to be running smoothly, gotta fix her radiator one of these days, but there seems to be nothing wrong with her. The fuel depth gauge has gone to and so has part or most of the airconditioner. Wow this post is getting long, almost as long as one of sarah's posts!!!! 1:54 pm	17th and 25th if you call me ill kill you These are the only two days i have an exam, so if anyone tries to call me or organised something on these days, you have had a full warning and be prepared to feel the pain. NO im not streesing about my exams, im fine, im fine, im fine. Went for a cruise in the car, finally, just needed to hit the open road and sing quite badly to gold fm songs. Good company and a good drive. The main reason we did it was due to the adonis again. Cancelled on roleplaying and apparently he let us know beforehand, though 4 of 5 people don't seem to have gotten this warning. The rain is good and its time to get back to more study. What do people in console club think about me buying the white x box, i wont have enough money for games yet but three xboxes and three tv's would be a good thing right? 5:06 pm	Not acting like myself, sorry. HEy everyone, its been a busy few weeks at work and as such, ive been really tired and partially snippy with people. Working every morning at 6am kinda sucks, especially since uni works is getting harder and harder. BUt the good thing is ive almost finished, this is the last week. From 25th November i may be happiers person as my last exams ends on that date so ill be free for another few weeks. Finially got a picture, people should unerstand the thereputic relief from bouncing a slinky from hand to hand. Busy day tomorrow, working 6-10 then uni from 11- 7, so no going over to ewan's. Work's ok though, it seems im the go to guy, fucking annoying cos i get called in for every available shift but the money is good aparrently, dont know where its gone but it was good. Well off to wallies, gonna have a bit of a barby as Jimoin would say. No console club for me this friday, unless i get work off, keep me posted and have fun out there. 9:37 pm	Everyone love's a Slinky, but sometimes you feel like the stairs. Woo hoo, im in a good kinda mood. I survived a week or hell, working all day and seeing ewan at night time (he he) and my assignments are now finished. This post goes mainly out to BOR to inquire as to when he wants to go over to Ewan's house again to kill things. Its all possible to stay a bit later to unless i have to drive to Brunswick again as im not familiar with the area and considering the drivers their and my lack of sleep, staying till 11 would not be a good idea. Anyone who wants to bitch and moan about it well i have one rule. Its my car and i decide when im tired and i want to go fucking home. It also helps when people arrive on time so we can get there earlier. Im not mentioning names but i was a bit put out by someones attitude escpially when im not a taxi service and i have feelings. But other than that the night was a good one. My intention is ntop to start another verbal war im just telling it like how i felt it. Unapreciated and dejected that it seemed like it was all my fault. Just to note its not intended to be like Console club nite. I can't stay really late as i work pretty hard wed thurs fri and a little sleep makes me less cranky. Its just a fun few hours or so with ewan. Enough of my rant, im happy now, but i dont get so when im treated like the door mat, which people tend to do. Oops i better go to class now. Have fun all and ill expect replies for the next ewan visit, preferably on the mobile as its more reliable. 4:28 pm	Almost done with the bugger Hey ya! Ive almost finished my assignment and the tutor says we probably wont get a penalty for hading it in one day late. Its been a bugger of an assignment but i can safely say ill be able to do budgets for anyone who asks for them provided they acutally stick to them, (the one reason i haven't done one myself. Apart from that the credit card is now padi off except for the $20 i needed to get to buy lunch and print out work. BUt a big fat pay check comes in on Wednesday and all i really have to pay is $50 for hockey and $20 on card but im looking into the future and tha balance is low and the 550 registration and 35 phone bill are looking scary. No money again!!!!!! Poor for another week but at least christmas is far away. Who wants a slinky as a christmas present cos thats what everyone not blood related to me is gonna get. also i shall be accepting a mutual handshake as presents. 1:57 pm	Bumblebee Tuna Well, lifes just great aint it. Firstly for all those who have been reading the newspaper, they would know that this weekend has been very poor indeed. Two young deaths occurred. One was of a workmate of mine involving a tram and the other was of a friend of a friend who had enough with life. Just a reminder to all those out there who are having what they think is a hard time to buck up and keep on going. Lifes tough, but its worth living. All the bitter disputes can be swept under the carpet and forgotten. Never having experienced much form of betrayal or pain from losing a loved one could dim my perspective but lifes to short to be hung up on mistakes, and who said what and who did what. I try to make it possible for myself to lead as an enjoyable life that i can manage without hurting anyone. And anyone that has hurt me is forgiven and the incedents have been forgotten. Try to be happy with yourself, cos if you dont see yourself in the best possible light then what will other people think of you. 2:39 pm	People good, now how about some uni work. Hi everybody. Good damn ive been so slack in the past few weeks. Ive had a minor amount of uni work to do which means ill not do it at all. At least im attending all my classes and trying to do some of the reading but i really cant be stuffed. Right now im in the humanities 3 building which kinda smells funny, probably cos its full of arts students or something. At any rate, i now know more about the live journal thingy, well a little bit at least anyways. Looking forward as usual to the tuesday wierd session with the crowd of arts students on tuesday. The wierd comes mostly from me but they try, they just cant keep up with the random comments i tend to blurt out every 5 minutes or so. Anyway its gonna be a busy week, another week filled with random crap. Gotta to a Poof assignment and do my reading for TiT. (That is Personal Finance and Topics in taxation.) He he they have funny initials. Also this weekend ie friday. I have Junior Presentation for hockey, the LAN is happening Fri Sat Sun. Console Club, which i like but am now unable to attend this friday, and hockey games on Saturday and Sunday, both of which i should go to. And i just want a simple life with nothing to do and maybe a little more sleep. I also have to go back to work on monday and that sucks. New boss is a clean freak so its gotta be full and clean and there are only so many hours in a day. But what can i do i mean im only the shitkicker in the department, not like i have power or anything. Thats enough for now, im going to do some uni work, gotta pass another test.
